Lubricated Condoms Pack – Totally Advanced and Comfortable

The use of lubricated condom pack instead of the un-lubricated ones helps reduce friction during vaginal or anal sex, which in most cases rapture the condom. Un-lubricated condoms are used more often when performing oral sex on a male to help your partner not to taste the lubricant but the condom lubricant has no harm even if it is tasted. There are also the flavored condoms that are used during oral sex which offers an alternative taste other than the lubricant. When using flavored lubricants you should take extra care because not all flavors are good for the vaginal sex.

Lubricated Condom Packs – An Overview
Many lubricated condom packs are accompanied by a spermicide in the lubrication that decreases the chances of conception in case the condom breaks or tears during intercourse. It is much more effective to use spermicide on a condom since it is much more effective when it comes to contraception than using a condom that has no spermicide lubrication. Using other lubricants to lubricate a condom is acceptable provided that the lubricant is not oil based. One such lubricant is Astroglide, which is water-base and it is highly recommended to be used as a lubricant. It is ideal to use the lubricated condom during vaginal sex even though an additional condom-safe lubricant is required by the partners.

Cautions
One should be careful when using condoms that have got spermicidal lubricants since this increase the risk of HIV and STDs which is associated to nonoxynol-9. It is fine to use the lubricated condom during oral sex even though they are not ideal since most lubricants taste terrible and you tongue can easily go numb with the nonoxynol-9 that is used in the spermicidal lubricated condoms. For anal sex, lubricated condoms are ideal provided that thy do not contain nonoxynol-9 but you will need a silicon-based or water-based lubricant. The latex condoms are the lubricated condoms that are found in most drug stores. These condoms sometimes are lubricated with spermicides which may pose as a threat to other people whereas others are lubricated with a non-spermicidal lubricant. It is easier to use the lubricated condoms than the non-lubricated condoms as they are easier to work with and to put on. Using an additional water-based or silicon-based lubricant is important even though the condoms themselves are lubricated. These additional lubricants are required in order to improve your sexual experience and to make your sex safe.

Risks
There are some health issues that are associated with the use of lubricated condom packs. For example the condoms lubricated with spermicidal lubricant nonoxyl-9 have been shown to cause cancer. Do not use oil-based lubricants on latex condoms since the oil breaks down the latex and makes it easier to break. For latex condoms use the water-based lubricants. Every time you use a condom do not assume that it is lubricated because in most cases they are slightly lubricated and thus require additional lubricant. Too much lubrication is better than too little. It is always wise to practice safer sex.
